This was made for LydiaÂ’s final challenge - DTGD15understandblueB. This has been so much fun! And all the kind comments left by the wonderful current and former DT, as well as fellow participants were heartwarming. Thank you for all your fine work! For this challenge, I thought IÂ’d try my hand at northern lights and created this night scene. The back ground is sponged on with various Tim Holtz Distressed Inks. Sponging adds a neat shabby look I think. The stars are Tim Holtz Picket Fence Spray flicked on with a waterbrush. Then I die cut the Pennyblack birds on a wire and attached it near the bottom. I think taking the wire out of bounds made it more interesting.

Beautiful job on the background - that is one technique I have been afraid to do..... for no really good reason. Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge, and for all your entries throughout the week! You have been a busy girl!
