Sunflower was colored using many distress markers and I used the pointillism technique on the center as well as the border of the more mustard panel. The butterfly (or is it a moth?) was colored with same markers, punched and sponged edges with fired brick. Stamped sentiment with walnut stain, attached washi tape and mounted the butterfly circle on dimensionals.

Julie, this is a gorgeous sunflower and the butterfly is very pretty, also. I am so glad you got to try a new "to you" technique. Your card is sooooo pretty. I am so happy you played in my challenge.

Your sunflower is colored beautifully, Julie...I'm sure your dad's friend will love it. Hugs to you as we both remember our parents! Thanks, so much, for playing along in my DTGD challenge!
