Playing along with the mixability challenge to use wax (Inka gold), and three of the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges.
Smeared some inka gold (steel blue, jade, platinum) onto my craft mat and spritzed with water. Smooshed with mixed media paper. Once dry, added a die-cut leaf sprig in white, and a white sentiment banner at the bottom which is heat embossed in liquid platinum.
Inka Gold makes beautiful backgrounds. It's a bit messy to play with, but I made several of these background at once, so I have a supply for making more cards or die-cuts later.

I was just on your blog but it wouldn't let me leave a comment so I popped over here. The shimmer of the Inka Gold is lovely and makes a gorgeous background. Your son's painting is wonderful too. I was in Times Square earlier this year and the colours are bold and over powering. Your son has added enough colour to capture the feel while still using the greys and blacks of a big city.

Wow, I didn't know Inka Gold made other colors beside the gold and silver that I have. This is a lovely background with soft colors and perfectly complemented with the crisp white die cut.
