Here's another quick (cough cough) card for Jeanne's DTGD challenge and for Dina's Mixability Challenge. I loved the look of Dina's sample card bg so I went in a similar direction. I used homemade embossing paste through a stencil. I dried with a heat gun because I like the bubbling you get with that. I then rubbed blue paint over the whole bg. Once that dried I rubbed Inka Gold Old Silver. I added water to some gold PearlEx and spatter and painted that around too. Now that my bg was done, I had to decided what to do with it! I had made some bg paper with alcohol ink on glossy paper and I diecut the butterfly out of that. I cut two of the sentiment one in Marina and the other Black. I decided to cut a flourish in black as well. I added some black gel pen accents on my butterfly, some gold/Inka Gold color as well as the gems.
