I made this for this weeks sketch challenge. Great challenge too! I colored my image with spectrum noir markers and fussy cut around it. Then I layered it onto craft cs to help it pop. I started w/a plain blue panel behind the circle, but didn't like it so I punched a design using an ek success punch and glued it on. I layered everything together and then made the rose out of the same dp as the pink layer. After that was all done I added some liquid pearls to give the wood grain circle a little definition.
Thanks for looking! and I hope you like my card!

You did good by adding the punched piece to the blue panel, Geni! I like to sponge the edges sometimes instead of adding a matting and to give definition. Nice fussy cutting...so intricate....pretty coloring and sweet rose!

Geni, your card is gorgeous, and you have colored the bird and flowers beautifully. The lattice panel adds great texture. Love the way you outlined the circle with liquid pearls. This is an instant fave. tfs.
