This card is for DTGD15itsapassion, DTGD15CherylQuilts and CAS332 Mason Jar challenges. It's also a 50th birthday card for a friend of mine. She loves to collect mason jars and use them for her herbs and blooms. Thus this GO WILD clear stamp set from Power Poppy make the perfect image for her card! I colored with copic markers and then SNIP it up and pop it on with mounting foam tape. I also smear a little glossy accent over the jar hoping to get that "water" effect. I embossed the lavender cardstock using Taylor Expressions' dotted lattice embossing folder, one that I like to use often. Just give that nice clean elegant touch to the card. This simple card is on it way to Cincinnati today! I hope Elyn will like it.
Thank you for looking. I apologize ahead of time that I might not get a chance to reply back to any comments left for me. I'm taking some time off to enjoy last minute summer fun with my kids before they resume school in 2 weeks. Have a lovely August and thanks so much for the challenges fun! I look forward to next year.

This is such a beautiful card for your friend, the mason jar collector. What a wonderful image and good job with the water.

Oh, sweet Christina! I was hoping to see one of your beautiful cards for my DTGD gallery! It's GORGEOUS, and your coloring is so beautiful, and you've used one of my favorite images! I love the colors and the beautiful embossed background and how it "pops" in the circle. Yes, Elyn will LOVE it when she receives it. Sending hugs, sweet friend, and have a wonderful time on your "blogging break!"
