I need two more Christmas cards to fill my July quota (oops), so this is what I went with - and it's also for Tricia's and Wanda's challenges.
Stamped the hens, coloured them with pencils, sponged the edges and matted onto black. Stamped the chickenwire onto a scrap of paper, tore and rolled the edges and added it to some distressed wood paper. Popped the image panel up on foam, and after looking at it for a while, used up the last of my little silver whatever-you-call-thems.

What a cute Christmas card, Sabrina. I like the added chicken coop wire. The distressed wood paper is fab.

I absolutely love your background Sabrina, the distressed wood dp and the chicken wire compliment each other. I'm a big fan of distressed and weathered ya know... When I was downsizing and wanted to get down to only one drawer of chickens and ducks, I made sure I kept this stamp. Growing up next door to a farm gave me a lot of great memories. The stamp is perfect for Christmas and birthdays. Awesome card my dear.....

I love chickens and have real ones to love in person, so this sticks my fancy right away. You shading on the main panel is good, and the background is just what these country girls like!
