For this challenge I made some lined open-top boxes and adhered them together to make a divided tray to organize my desk drawer. The compartments are perfect for little things like sticky notes, rubber bands, paper clips, etc. And I love the cheerful DSP peeking out from underneath everything - it really brightens up an otherwise dark space!

What a great idea. It seems when you go to the office supply stores the containers are either too expensive or the wrong sizes. When you make your own they will be exactly what you need.

Exactly! I measured the inside of my drawer first so I knew exactly what dimensions I needed. Plus, they are recyclable when I want to change out the color scheme, and because they fit perfectly they will be sturdy enough - held in place securely by the walls of the drawer.

These look great! I made little boxes to hold my re-inkers into the color groups (since my hubby did not put the re-inker slot on my ink pad storage) and they have held up surprisingly well. I think I might just do this with my desk drawer also.
