When I was a child my father's father would come to visit us on the farm. The dust would billow as he made his way down the dirt lane back to the house. When grandpa stepped down from the pickup in his denim overalls his grandchildren would run up to greet him and wait for him to reach into his pocket and pull out the BlackJack gum. The smell of grandpa was licorice and dust when he came to visit in his old truck.

I love your card! And don't you just love the old memories of family. My Granddaddy had a truck like this but it was yellow. He brought life savers. Thanks for sharing your card and memory.
