For the current Teapot Tuesday, the challenge is to use a stamp to create a new Beatrix Potter character and personality. This is Penelope Penguin, who has a sunny, cheerful disposition no matter the weather.
The image is actually called Snowy Penguin by Conie Fong (from Sweat Pea Stamps, a digi company), and it just seemed like it would fit the challenge perfectly. I kept the colors muted (I barely used any black at all on the penguin body) to get that Beatrix Potter feel. It doesn't show up on the photo, but there is wink of stella glitter on all the snowy areas, so there is a little sparkle to this card.

The sparkle must be lovely, and you really have captured the watercolour look of Beatrix Potter's illustrations. I think it does take a light hand with the colouring on anything black like penguins - and I have a couple of crow stamps I always struggle with. And oh my - those little gel dot stickers look good enough to eat!!

Wow Sandy, this gorgeous card looks like it was lifted straight from a Beatrix Potter storybook. The muted, soft colouring and light outline is wonderful. Everything about this is great and is sure to tickle a Teapotter.
