This was the image and papers sent from Kelly for the monthly challenge for July. We were given the challenge of "extra credit" to use buttons and decorate the inside. I decorated more of the inside with this card....used a piece of the gingham with the ric/rac and a piece of the blue and white polka dot paper.
Kelly sent us also an adorable background story about how her mom use to make Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls when Kelly was growing up. These dolls were for the various orphanages where they lived in England and Germany. She finally had her own doll waiting for her one Christmas under the tree! I also learned that Raggedy Ann and Andy are dressed in red, white and blue. Apparently the lady that made the set for me (when I was a child) didn't know that they were dressed in those colors!
Kelly....thanks so much for a fun kit....."You're a doll!"
Thanks for stopping for look!

How cute!! Great job with the card kit. The buttons add an adorable touch. The papers look like they could be fabrics which go with the sewing theme. Nicely done! TFS
