I have to say when I first saw this, I didn't want to write a story. Well, I changed my mind and wrote a poem to share. Here goes:
Say hello to little Miss Melissa Mouse.
She was sent to the field from her house.
To pick yellow flowers that were in season.
To make into tea, that was the reason.
But alas, little Miss Melissa Mouse,
CouldnÂ’t hear Mama call from the House.
Melissa Ann Mouse where are you?
You need to be here so I can brew.
That wonderful tea for all my friends.
IÂ’m sure you know how this thing ends.
Little Miss Melissa Mouse had so much fun.
Throwing the petals one by one.
That she skipped home without a thing.
And oh poor Mama did she ever sing!
Mama Mouse learned a lesson that day.
Get it yourself or youÂ’re the one who will pay.
The End
I stamped in memento ink and colored with copic markers. I sponged the edge after cutting the image out. I added it all to the brick wall which kind of mirrors the designer paper. Thanks for the fun. I'll send this off tomorrow.

Love it, love it, love it. I especially loved how Melissa became Melissa Ann Mouse when her mum was calling.....ahhhh the universal language of mothers LOL. Fantastic poem and an equally fantastic card to go with it!!!,

Oh gosh, I'm so glad you wrote a story, and not just a story but poem! It made me smile so much. A South African friend once gave me some Rooibos tea with little blue petals in it, and I can imagine that yellow petals like all the ones Melissa didn't bring home would look so pretty in tea.

What a Delightfully Joyous little mouse card!!! Your poetry was also a joy to read. If your poetic muse continues to visit you, you should consider publishing. This type of thing is great for children's books! tfs
