Processing a heartbreaking situation that affects our extended missionary family overseas. Moved to these verses and remembered this saying - I also wanted to visually depict the sadness of the situation with a color that expresses hope. Drew in the branches and bird with PanPastels and pencil, stamped the words, circles and other design elements with Memento Luxe ink. Scribbled some words in the corner, might scribble some more here - it doesn't feel done yet! Thanks for looking.

So sorry for your heavy heart, and your situation. Love your beautiful words and images...and am happy you are finding comfort through your creative outlet. I'm sure others will be uplifted by it too. Hugs!!

I, too, am sorry to hear of the sadness you are experiencing. Yet, how great you could turn to this Scripture, and artfully express what your own words could not. TFS! :-)

This is soooooooo beautiful, Dina, and I hope it helped your grief to do this. You make me want to do some Bible art journaling.
