The background of this care is my go-to when I need color therapy or have "writer's block". I take 6-8 coordinating papers (need a couple solids and limit the white). I start with 6x6 squares (this will make 6-8 backgrounds) and then cut them into 1/4 inch strips. Wallpaper a 5.5x4.25 piece of card stock with adhesive and just start laying down the strips. Paper strips will run off the edge of the card stock, so trim strips and background to desired size...in this card it is 5x3.75ish.
This time finished the card in a style I have never tried and with die cuts I had never used. Originally I used solid papers for the die cut pieces, but didn't like it, so I tried again in the complementary papers used in the background.
