While visiting Stiz2003, we did this technique, but with PENCILS to color the butterfly. This time I chose to color with copics - faster and easier for me, though it was nice to try a different medium! I added some sponging around the border and put on some sequins randomly. This card is going to Kathleen a little late, to wish her a speedy recovery with her new lungs, that I am sure breathed some NEW LIFE into her!
Thanks for looking - have a wonderful day!!

Kathleen will be thrilled to receive your card, no matter the order it is received, Sue. Your coloring of the butterfly is FABULOUS(and it sounds like you had a most educational visit with Nancy learning new tricks and techniques) The sequins add sparkle and a festive atmosphere.

Beautiful, Sue! The butterfly wings almost look velvety, just like real ones. And you know I love seeing music on cards. What a lovely card for Kathleen. We are just home from visiting a friend who also received a lung transplant just this last week!!
