DID YOU KNOW?
I have use ONE ODBD tiny shutter custom die to make THREE separate things on this card; 1-the Window Shutters, 2-the Window Blinds inside the window and 3- All those tiny flowers. Isn't it great when a die has so much versatility? The window blinds were made with three separate cuts lined side-by-side. The Flowers were made by folding the cut shutters in half on their long side and rolling each into a flower with a little wet glue on the edge to adhere. Flowers are then pressed to shape and sponged. There is a great tutorial from Sue Wilson on You Tube - Crafting My Style - showing you just how to make these fun rolled flowers.
Thanks for looking & Happy Creating!

thanks for telling about the flowers and blinds. I never would have thought to use the shutters for something else, America! Your card is beautifully inspired by that gorgeous painting!! Love the shades of RED.

My kind of painting! A floral still life!
What I love is when incredibly creative people like you show up and show me that a die is not just a die...the blinds are really inspired...not to mention the flowers. I never would have thought of the flowers.
Meanwhile..I like the acrylic for the window glass and the brick BG...the whole thing just rocks!
Definitely should be submitted for a stretch your die challenge or to the mfg.
