This is for Cathy's fun Ways to use It challenge and the theme is Picnic.
Here we have Thelma and Louise going on a picnic. They have their picnic hamper packed and their little gingham tablecloth, I hope it doesn't rain.
The background is Dylusion Ink, spray purple and orange onto a sheet of al foil, squirt on a LOT of water, dunk card panel into the inky water. To get a bit more intense colour, I scrubbed some diluted distress ink randomly over the card once the Dylusions ink had dried. I got carried away and there was a dark patch at the centre top so I used my big squirter bottle (the household type with a two-way nozzle). This shifted the excess colour!! I quickly blotted off the extra water.
Hand drawn legs, water drops and doohickies all done with a micron pen and Sharpie white paint pen. The little picnic basket was cut from an old book. The shoes are a fun Unity stamp (coloured then fussy cut).
Thelma and Louise didn't photograph well as they have clear Zig Wink of Stella sparkle over them. The girls were coloured with my new Derwent Inktense Pencils (gosh they are great) and Gellatos, then fussy cut. Thank you for looking.

Oh, you will love the Inktense!!! Fabulous rich background, and the old-fashioned picnic basket is just what I'd like!! But when I went looking for one this year, I couldn't find one that had glasses AND mugs. Mostly they had wineglasses - my picnics aren't that fancy. Surely it can't rain at an Australian picnic!

Oh my gosh this is the best Crazy Bird card I have ever seen! Those legs, how I love the legs!!! You add so much to an image and how fun to see them. Love the way you colored them.
