It's time for more flowers - surprise?! LOL! Yes, like many of you, I love flowers, and here's the newest Instant Garden digital release - Ranunculus. These are real beauties (but a challenge to spell/type - hehe!). I was delighted to see the amazing variety of colors - often seen in bouquets with roses. I colored this new image in bright pinks and decided on a simple layout. Since green is opposite pink/red on the color wheel, I found this striped DP worked matted on the sides. I cut down my image, paper pierced the sides only, wrapped some Perle cotton with a button, matted it, and adhered it on the card base - and it was done! How easy is that? I used only Copic markers, but I may color another one adding detail with some pencils. More details on my blog.
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a wonderful week - and take time to enjoy the flowers around you! Hugs!

Ranunculas are my favorite flower, and when they are colored with copics by an expert like you, it is pure heaven. Lovely color choices and tge button and twine are perfect. A few months ago the common areas in my neighborhood were planted with ranunculas, and my son took an amazing photo of my sweet dog Dolly right in the middle of them. Priceless photo. Another card to pin and fav.

Another breathtaking beauty, Cheryl!! You achieved amazing depth in those petals. Just stunning. Ranunculus are one of my favorite flowers in nature...and in stamping. You did a very impressive job with yours. Lovely, lovely, lovely!

Easy? I think not! The coloring is the hard part and yours is exquisite, Cheryl! It's beautiful! Love the side borders and the use of the cotton perle!

Another simply stunning card. Beautifully coloured and with just the right background papers to set them off so well. I have some beautiful red ones in the garden which come up year after year and put on such a brilliant display.
