Happy Tuesday everyone. Karen is the colour challenge hostess this week and she has chosen Soft Sky, Perfect Plum and Wild Wasabi for the colours and the desert option is something other than a straight edge.
I coloured the sweetbriar rose image and the blue background with copic markers. I thought I had a fairly close match with the colours and now I am looking at the gallery and it looks like my purple colour is not very close :(
I cut out the image with oval spellbinder, then decided I wanted to add the grass it the image. I cut out a partial green oval. Cut around the bottom leaves so that I cut place the green grass panel underneath the leaves. Matted with Black scalloped oval. Made up the sentiment panel, coloured it. Placed underneath some of the leaves. Added the rhinestones to sentiment and centre of the flowers. Sewed around edge of oval.. Added the silver butterfly to image. I made up the stripped base panel. Embossed the white section with cloud embossing folder. Matted with black and white and purple. I punched the bottom edge of the purple base panel (something other than a straight edge)
Flower panel is popped up. Finished the inside of the card.
I am very happy with how it turned out - except my colours are not quite right.

Pat, this is gorgeous. Those strips are so close in matching the colors, and your embossing of the clouds adds fabulous dimension!!! WOW! Hugs.
