This challenge was perfect for making a card for my nephew's birthday. First time trying the Faux Tin Tiles technique. Painted white acrylic paint over the embossed tin foil, rubbed with rubbing alcohol, and rubbed on some blue and green Inka Gold. The fishing boat image was watercolored with distress inks. Most of the stamps and dies are from Our Daily Bread Designs. Thanks for looking!

Wow, this is absolutely beautiful, Cathy. That is one of my favorite of the ODBD that is still on my wish list.

Oh, Cathy, this is stunning, and what a great masculine card! I love the effect you've achieved with mixed media and the beautiful tones and shades. And your tiles remind me of underwater with the fish swimming around. Fascinating card with all its wonderful detail! Totally love it!! Hugs!

Outstanding! I love all the background elements (fish, net, etc.) that tie in perfectly to make a fishing theme. Your faux tin tiles look terrific. Love the braided fibers as well.
