For today's Color Challenge, I created an underwater scene. I stamped the mermaid & octopus first, masked, then stamped the sand castle, sand lines, seaweed, bubbles and splatter (for sand). I added some dots of masking fluid to her tail section so when I colored it, they would stay white. After I was finished, I rubbed it off. I like how it looks like the sparkle of the scales. I added a large circle frame, the greeting, shells and more sand.
I cut around her tail & a few of the octopus tentacles to slide the edge of the circle frame under. It may be hard to see, but I also added some clear Wink of Stella here & there all over for some sparkle. In real life, it's super sparkly!
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, I love the circle opening you created and the octopus coming out a big from it. Lovely coloring.

WOW is this card something else!!! This looks like a store bought card - and I mean that in a good way. Everything is so professional and perfect on it.
Great card, Julie! What an amazing scene you created with all of the separate images! Cutting to let the tail and tentacles extend into the circle frame is such a nice touch!
