Happy Tuesday. I have been asked to be one of the quest designers for July's colour challenge.. Thanks so much for asking me
Loved the colours given by Vicki. Sahara Sand, Melon Mambo and Island Indigo. Desert option is to use stripes.
I love the "Girlfriends" from the Art Impression Line. I used this cute wine diva. I stamped the image onto the tan polka dot dp, also on the pink patterned paper for her dress and onto white card stock for her body. Cut out the chair. Cut out her dress and headband. Coloured and Cut out her body. Assembled the image. I stamped the chair arm piece (the one under her wine glass) twice more to give it more dimension. Added some shading. Applied crystal effects to her earrings and wine glass. Glue o the rhinestones on her head band. I scored lines on the tan background - wall. Bent the paper and sponged colour down the scored lines to give it more definition. Added the pink stripped carpet. Stamped sentiment and cut out, sponged melon mambo around edges. Made the pink flower pot and cut out the cactus. Assembled the scene. Then I added the sock monkey stuffy and the little striped brad - I thought it could be a coffee table. I think it turned out fairly well. What do you think???
Hugs..Pat

Love your stitching! ...and the tip on the sponging the scored line was worth the price of admission. Wow! I never would have thought of that! Cute card.
