Vicki is our hostess this week, and she has challenged us to use Sahara Sand, Melon Mambo and Island Indigo, with the dessert option of stripes on your card. I am skipping dessert this week. I just couldnÂ’t figure out a way to get stripes on this card!
The tag part was easy.
I am hoarding piles and piles of DS paper, but I could not find anything that worked with this tag. So I created a watercolor wash of the challenge colors (more or less!) I did a fairly poor job of centering the watercolor paper, with too big a border at the bottom. You know what they say about mistakes being opportunities for embellishment, right? I got out my teensy scallop die and cut a border to stick on the bottom. It really did rescue this card!
Thanks for stopping by, and please join us this week!

That's true creativity - adding something that looks great and rescues your design!! Love your idea for the background, plus the tag and flower are so pretty.
