I was completely amazed at Jo Ann's gallery and all of the wonderful easel cards. I knew immediately what I wanted to do, when I saw her A Little Birdie card. We love spending time at our condo in Nevada and I'm completely fascinated with the road runners we get to see. I used one of my photos, framed it with black and placed it on the plaid BG. The sentiment was stamped on the labels 10 die cut, using early espresso and then I lightly stamped a yucca in soft sky. The sentiment was placed on the black piece, left over from cutting the frame. Here's Jo Ann's neat card.

I love how she uses photos in her cards frequently. Growing up in AZ, we had roadrunners in my parents' yard all the time. My dad used to feed one raw hamburger out of his hand, but he (bird) would only come to my dad. It was cute. They talked back and forth. Love your case and your photo! A perfect sentiment too!

Super fun - I grew up watching these birds in New Mexico so I love your card even more. How fun! Great case. Hugz

How clever that you used one of your photos for this lovely card! I've only seen a road runner "up close and personal" one time -- running across a parking lot in Arizona! Needless to say, I took his photo too.
