I don't think I have ever completed a challenge that started with such a small element (garden tool brads) and morphed into such a detailed panorama (a golf course)! I needed a BD card for my son who manages all things turf and gardens at a large golf course so arrived at this idea!
Masked and blended the background. Cut out the fence and golf cart in grey, and 3 each of white. Stacked and glued the 3 white fences ( and golf carts) together. Then offset the grey fence (and cart) and glued it to the bottom to create a shadow.
Colored all die cut pieces with markers. Stamped the dark bg trees then adhered all die cuts to the card. Stamped, colored, and fussy cut 3 SU flowers. Adhered to flower garden with pop ups. Added garden tool brads, clear bling on 2 birds for eyes, pearls for golf balls. Used a black gel pen to add more shading and details. Whew! I'm tired!

Wow, you created an awesome scene for your son. Those brads are super fun -- even though this challenge was about using up the stash, I'm not sure I could part with those.

One of the best things my son loves about being a teacher is being the varsity golf coach! I think I might need that card die!!

Oh my gosh, I can't stop looking at this. What an amazing scene you have created Kate. I first saw the brads in the flowers, as I read on I learnt about the gardening brads! The grey diecut layers are pure genius and I love the pearl golf balls. The shadows everywhere are fantastic. Can you tell how much I love this.
