For this week's mix-ability challenge, you need to make a Red White and Blue project using more than 1 medium.
I decided to call my card Blue white and red, with the colors listed backwards, but in the amount that I used on my card. I stamped the MFP (Island life) lighthouse and masked it. I stamped, ODB (It is Well with my soul) over the lighthouse. I added the Stamplorations mixed media stamp in the corners. It kinda makes me think of a fishing net. I also added Lizzy Anne (Funky Floral) for the little dotted circles in the corners. The sentiment and sand dollar are also MFP sets (Lots of words and (Sand dollar)
After I water colored the main panel, I added the little bit of red on my card with a prisma colored pencil. I added the little stripes on the sail of the sailboat. I also used the red pencil to color the door. If you would like to see a close up of the little boat you can see it on my blog Mississippi-McGyver
The different mediums I used on my card: textiles(cheese cloth), markers (to watercolor with), prisma colored pencils, and eye shadow. Yes you read right, eye shadow. I used a sparkly brown eye shadow on the sand dollar.
