This is my first sample for CC536. Maura is our hostess and she has chosen real red, marina mist and night of navy. Dessert is to use enamel dots or sequins. I was so focused on the colors this week that I totally forgot dessert (lol).
I picked up on the patriotic theme with this card. Sending this off to my nephew who is a Air Force vet and served 4 tours in Iraq. My layout is this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch #274.
I used the MFT Blueprints 15 dies tp cut my background pieces. My white bg layer is stamped with the Great Impressions fireworks stamp in real red. The sentiment on this panel is from SNSS stamps "patriotic cocoa".
The bottom striped panel is dp from Recollections. Sentiment on this panel is from the same SNSS set.
Added some stars cut with an MFT die to complete this card.
Hope you can play along with us this week. We have some great colors and you may be our next fave of the week and that gives you a chance to guest design with the CC Team.
