Thanks for a great inspiration site Audrie. Today was a make it work moment for my Brusho... When I saw this swimsuit I knew I had a stencil that would work for a background. I have been playing with my Brusho for awhile but I haven't been happy with what I was creating. Same thing happened today. I just wasn't getting enough white space in my design. So I just kept cutting it down until I was happy and it worked. I colored my Darcie's penguin to match my Brusho panel and airbrushed 3 sequins to match. I used my Misti to stamp my sentiment. It is a good thing I've learned to leave my stamp onto the Misti until I'm done because just as I was putting the first card together some "wild" Brusho appeared on the front of the card..... So I started over and re-stamped another card base... The Misti is perfect for these occasions.

My most favorite technique is fussy cutting. I used a little Ranger stickles for my Penguin's hat.
Thanks for looking

How adorable, Irene. I love your Brusho panel and your fun sequins. Love the Misti, also.

Adorable, Irene! You matched the Brusho colors to his scarf perfectly. I hadn't even thought about Brushos for winter cards, but now I see I'll be definitely heading in that direction after summer.

What a wonderful job you did with the Brushos! I particularly love the hint of pink you added to it. Never thought of airbrushing embellishments to get a perfect match in color. I too never get enough white space but I'd say you mastered it! Love your card, Irene!
