Our Free-for-all challenge (F4A27 is the theme of rain, umbrellas, showers. I chose to make mine an encouragement card. First I splattered masking fluid on the wc cs, and then when it dried I used the smooshing technique that Laura Bassen demonstrates with the distress inks. When that dried, I rubbed off the splatters from the masking fluid, and then stamped the sentiment. Embossed the umbrella in white, on white (look closely and you can see the design), fussy cut it, and popped that up with dimensionals. Added enamel dots. Linking also to:

This is so fun and so pretty!! Now I can see I need to get some masking fluid. This craft just never ends. You did a beautiful job with this technique and materials. Your umbrella looks great on all of these splotches of color.

Ooh, that background turned out beautifully! I love the colors you used, which really make the white patterned umbrella "pop". Great, encouraging sentiment as well. Into my faves!
