I know that my card looks really different from Kyra's sample for the mix challenge 125 I started with white cardstock, I added color with markers and then I put rocks on top of the background panel. I sprayed gold shimmer spray over the top of the rocks. If you look closely near the bottom cluster of roses, there is a purple patch that has no gold. That is where a rock was sitting. I outlined the panel with a gold marker and placed it on a white cardstock base. I rolled the roses. I added baby's breath. I added gold dots with gold acrylic paint. I talk more about how I made this card and have photos that I took in the process on my blog: Mississippi McGyver

Your bg is gorgeous and i am going to have to read how you did that with markers. It is so smooth and flows so nicely. I love the colors. And as for the roses, yours get nicer and more real looking all the time. You are the queen of rolled roses.

Well aren't you the clever one? I love this!! Those little flowers you make are just the perfect accent. I'm hoarding the little bag you made for me. Love love love!!
