I know this is not so CAS & I don't participate in the CAS challenge often, but I saw this card in Paula's (mrslaird) gallery. I loved it! Since I need a July 4 birthday card, this is perfect. I used 2 pre-made bookmark tags & trimmed them down. I sponged with Black at the top & bottom. Then I started die cutting... Arranged the stars & glued them on, some with glue dots, some with a 2-way glue pen & one on a pop dot. I didn't notice until now that they are all going the same way! I'll fix that later. I had already cut the step card trying to use it for another idea that just didn't work. At least I saved it!!! I apologize for the poor quality photo - it's storming again.
Thank you Paula for your inspiration.
thanks for stopping by.

Festive doesn't begin to describe your card, Karen. LOVE all the stars for this b'day card for your friend who shares the date with our country. All the combos you made with the 3 colors and the stars is terrific.
