I have been AWOL from gallery gazing and card making,so it was nice to "have" to make a card. The first time I heard the term Recipe card, I e-mailed Susie in a panic. The only recipe I know is " remove from box and microwave for 3 minutes. What a relief to find out that I just neeeded words that start with the letters in JUNE. Here is my receipe (if only dinner could be this easy)
J - jute rope
U - Utte
N - nautical theme
E -enamel accente.
I used the UTEE on the sun and enamel accents for the little white dots on the waves. I was pleasently surprised when I found that it was easy to tie a sailors knot out of jute with any of the you tube tutorials... it is much easier than it looks.
I hope you join this week's F4A277 challenge. TFL, Francie

I was just looking at the challenge and I knew from the thumbs that this must be yours. It's so happy and summery feeling. I'd love to see yachts with such fun sails in real life!! I love the sun and sky.
Recipe cards are fun, both spelling ones and the sort where you are told to use a list of items.

Such a cute, fun scene. Beautiful colors - as always, so vivid. I admire your ability to achieve such depth of color. Your cards are always eye candy for lovers of color. I like your cooking style too - you gotta love the microwave!
