DH and I have been away for weeks in outback Australia and we just made it home in time for me to
go to Craft Camp. Our ATC theme this year was "nautical" so that gave me a great head start for this challenge.
The recipe is J U N E. Here we go....
J ...jute
U...unravelled jute AND up cycled ATC
N...nautical theme
E...eleven inches of jute (bet ya didn't see that coming)
No copics were harmed making this, all the colouring was done with Distress Inks. Smack the ink pad on an aluminium sheet, squirt a tiny bit of water in one corner only, this wll give you lots of shades of the same colour.
The stamping was made easy by using MISTI. Hope you join in the fun.

Hey, Susie, it's lovely to see you and your cards back in the gallery again. I l love the summer feel to this, it brings back so many holiday memories. The red lifebuoy against the blue is fab.

Awesome card and creative take on the challenge (E = eleven...too fun!)
Love the blue background effect, can't wait to try my hand at making it. Thanks for sharing how you did it, it's way cool!

Welcome back Susie! This card is awesome! In the frist place, I love nautical cards. The image is coloured so expertly, and the use of the jute is done so wonderfully. I love how you sponged around the sentiment too. Most fun is your creative interpretation of the letters J U N E
