Hi, everyone! Today's Ways To Use It Challenge is 'Go West!' I couldn't find my one horse stamp, so I used the new 'Deer Silhouette Greetings' from North Coast Creations, which is ODBD's sister company. Along with the awesome deer set, I used the ODBD 'Vintage Ephemera Paper Collection' and ODBD Custom 'Vintage Labels' Dies to create this monochromatic, masculine design. For the image panel, I used the same die for all three layers. Two were cut and embossed with white, one of which was hand-trimmed on the embossed line and used for the stamping and sponging. The brown mat was hand-trimmed after tracing the outside of the same die....since the curves of this die were not dramatic, it was fairly easy to cut by hand....even if I did have to stick out my tongue while doing it! The designer paper has a mercantile theme, so I thought it would fit for the western theme, along with the brown tones. The layout of the card comes from the ODBD Shining the Light Sketch Challenge. Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

That scene with the deer and tree silhouettes is just fabulous - what a super masculine card. The piercing adds to your Western feel too . Love the way you carried that over the top of the banner strip.

I know what you mean about cutting those labels by hand...it is necessary, of course, for the sticking out of the tongue to do it!!! I always picture you doing that and crack up!
Love your piercing, you are so good at getting it nice and even! The paper just seems to go with this masculine theme and I love how you've used it! Love those deer too, who wouldn't, they are beautiful! Nice job getting them so black...must have used your Misti, huh?
