The Sketch Challenge today is pretty straightforward except for the diagonal element across the top third. Instead of just putting something there, I chose to divide my panel there using 3 patterns of paper.
The sailboat image was stamped w/ denim ink onto ivory card stock & again on white. I paper pieced the white boat & bigger clouds onto the ivory version. Originally I die cut the paper at the top using the Sunburst die, but because of the pattern, itÂ’s very hard to see. The greeting & an anchor were added on die cut pennants & I sprinkled some die cut stars around.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & the inside are on my blog: Mono Print
