After a really rainy start to this year, May & now June have been pretty dry & sunny here. Occasional thunderstorms, but not the daily drenching we had earlier.
For this card, I got out my trusty little brayer & a rainbow ink pad & brayered over a large white panel. The top white panel w/ the circle cut out was a leftover so I die cut it using the same Flourished Star Pattern die & after determining the opening on the brayered panel, I stamped the mountain scene, did a little masking & stamped parts of it again to fill in.
On the top white panel, I used a torn diagonal mask & brayered the same colors across it. I did even it up a tad using sponging. A reverse circle mask was used to sponge in the sun then I stamped the sun/eagle on top and the deer & tree at the bottom. The ground image was also stamped using the dark blue of the rainbow pad. The greeting was stamped just under the circle opening.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

This is just incredible - I love it. Everything is drenched in sunshine in the forest. I just can't wait for that little parcel of squirrels to arrive - lots of acorn trees around here - so they won't go hungry.
