My card is CAS, yet I got to play with several techniques...Masking, Watercoloring, Die Cut, Fussy Cutting and hand drawn sentiment :-)
I masked my watercolored panel using washi tape and masked my houses using post it notes. I used this weeks CC533 SU colors to sponge inks onto the masked panel. Then spritzed with water to blend the inks. Loved the effect. Then stamped my tallest house, masked the house and stamped the house in back. I then stamped and fussy cut the smaller house and attached. So fun to see the watercolored panel colors show thru the houses.
I did not have a Welcome Home stamp, so I used my pencil to draw straight lines and then carefully wrote my own " Welcome Home" sentiment in pencil and traced with my Basic Grey marker. Added a tiny heart sequin and rhinestone for my only embellishment.
I also got to use my new Memory Box Stitched Rectangles Die. I also ordered the MB Circle Rectangles Die all because of winning (random pick) the Wednesday Stenciled SSS Challenge :-) Thank you again SSS for your generous gifts!
Challenge #4: STAMPlorations Anything Goes Challenge. must use at least one STAMPlorations Stamp. I used Shirley's Bee's Knees "Houses". There are 5 townhouse images :-) Fun to mask and color.
Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend :-)
