Well, I think I might be able to settle this. Whomever drew this flower must not have known what they were doing. Rhododendron don't grow in nice neat little circles like that, but hydrangea do. Hydrangea don't have stamen like that. Someone must have wanted a crossbreed. Whatever!!! I will call it the Karen flower, and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! Your coloring is the bomb!! Nice colors for the week also. Your card is truly gorgeous friend.

Team Hydrangea (lol)-yes I will be a part of it-since I am not the gardener in my house but my hubby is-maybe I should ask him-but whatever the species this is a beautiful card Karen-now I see why you were disappointed that we couldn't get it on the site last night

I'm no flower expert and love both, so I'll just say it's a WOW flower whatever it is! Your touch of white in the details adds so much to make it pop! Sorry I was late posting but our power went out this morning! I was beginning to think someone didn't want me to post my card - lol!

Beautiful, Karen! Love the rich colors. To me...it looks like a GERANIUM. I've actually made geraniums using hydrangea images..just used some punched geranium leaves to cover the hydrangea leaves
