I'm on a graduation card roll using a favorite technique of mine for multiple cards. I call it two tone inlay (blog post here). For this card I've used a black piece cut 4x5 1/4" and glued the Cabana top piece over it. I glued the Olive die cut into this piece. My flowers are made by stamping the tiny Cabana flowers then punching around them with the flower punch. I used the stamp etching technique (Lydia's tutorial) to add depth then used white shimmer paint for centers and also for my spatter. I embossed the sentiment in white ep omitting the butterfly from the stamped image.

Wow, Gail - this is totally stunning! I just LOVE the black bottom inlay with the white spatter, so striking. And more sweet flowers - the ones on the other card reminded me of little blue speedwell, I know there's a wildflower that these ones are just like - only I can't think of the name. So pretty!

I remember you doing some cards using this method with this leafy flourish, Gail, and I really liked them! This one caught my attention with the colors and white splatter! Beautiful~
