For Joan's TLC536 Splatter It Up challenge. Spatters don't come easy to me - I don't like not knowing how they will turn out, and the worry that I will spoil the card - since they're really the last thing you add!
I stamped my bug and jar, added Stickles to the bug's wings, and when dry coated the whole thing with Glossy Accents. The lid of the jar is stamped on matt silver card, and I scored along the lines on it, too.
When it was all dry, I masked off the bottom and used a brush and credit card to spatter dilute Twinkling H2Os over the top part of the card. Sponged in the grass, cut, and sponged the edges with Victorian Velvet.
Base is some old DCWV, and the DP was embossed. I found a dragonfly brad which I must have had for years, and which was just the right colour!

Now you may be afraid to add those splatters, but I think they turned out fabulous! Love the bug in the jar with his glittery wings and the embossed BG is perfect with the coloring! The dragonfly brad was a great finish to this adorable card!!
