For this week's favorite tools wtui challenge. Honestly, my favorite tools are whatever I can get my hands on in an effort to make a project! That said, I use my big shot to create masks (Can you see the butterfly mask in back?), the cuttlebug for embossing (especially over burlap), and my sponges. My favorite new toy, of course, is the MISTI, which makes alphabet stamps much easier to place accurately.
These are the prize (cash) packages. I'm co-hosting next Monday night. The front is the big butterfly, the back is a burlap embossed blue page with the pull tab die cut, stamped with the smile border.

Beautiful butterfly, Brenda! I just got a Misti 2 days ago and I never even thought about my alphabet stamps - gotta go dig 'em out - thanks for the reminder!

What fun! I like the idea of making your own stencils using die cuts. So if you're hosting do you get to play, too...ie-will you be winning some $$$ (stamp money, right?)

I really like how you added your extra touch by making the prize cards. It does make the winner feel special, and the money doesn't hurt either. Your butterfly is so very colorful, and cheery. Thanks for playing in the challenge.

Brenda, I just had to leave a comment on this card. It's been years since I've played Bunco. In fact, I only played once and walked home with the big prize. I still have a beautiful set of deep red compote bowls. Great job using that MISTI (I have one too - winking). Wonderful card my friend.
