Card made for the DRS Designs 1-2-3 Challenge (more on my blog).
This card would have made the best video - you would have been rolling on the floor laughing! I wish Susie A. could tell the story but you are stuck with me. My bg was done by splattering paint on to some cardstock. I got it all over my wall too. I didn't notice it until later when I was on the phone and then thought to myself "what are all those dots on the wall?" I wiped at one and the color spread - I wiped more and then was super surprised as it started to look like I had water-colored my wall. Good thing I found it before hubby did because he gets very perturbed about my glitter or paint on the counters or walls. Next I thought it would be fun to try the Four Flour BG stamp in the green paint and I tried to stamp it all over - had some errors which I covered by using the Lines O'plenty stamp and white embossing it to hide the less than perfect stamping. Next I stamped Brush Birthday sentiment but it didn't completely stamp so I had to make a second panel to cover the mishap. The butterflies and flowers hid a couple more less than stellar spots where ink or paint or ep didn't turn out just right. I laughed the whole time I was making this - it was so much fun!
Happy Friday! Hugz!

What a funny story, though I think you surely did it justice and susie a. could not have made us laugh more than you did!! What a neat way to make a BG - love the multi layered butterflies (yes, I love them!) and how your sentiment is on a banner - or two - to cover the less than perfect spots - sounds like you "need" a MISTI - LOL!

Nancy, I LOVE your story and love how this turned out! I'd love to stamp with you! I can relate to the splatter too, still have white paint on a hardwood floor trying to use the spatter brush! This is fabulous! What you did with mishaps is amazing. What an artsy background and love the stamp you used to cover up the not so perfect spots!
