My middle son, Ryan, was in an automobile accident in 2006 when he was 21 years old. He was a belted passenger in a car that went off the road into a 9" ditch and right into a tree. Among many internal serious injuries. Ryan suffered a traumatic brain injury and I felt compelled to scrapbook his recovery, mostly for him as he doesn't remember a whole lot of what happened.
Pages 10 and 11 are pictures of Ryan doing his therapy. On Page 10, he was hooked up to a lift and was placed on a treadmill with minimal weight on his legs to help his body to remember how to walk. The other two pictures show him practicing walking. I can remember he would get ahead of himself and he would start to lean. His PT gal would stop and Ryan would say, "Leaning, I'm leaning!". He always had something funny to say!
