My middle son, Ryan, was in an automobile accident in 2006 when he was 21 years old. He was a belted passenger in a car that went off the road into a 9" ditch and right into a tree. Among many internal serious injuries. Ryan suffered a traumatic brain injury and I felt compelled to scrapbook his recovery, mostly for him as he doesn't remember a whole lot of what happened.
Ryan's accident was on September 15. At Halloween, Ryan told me he wanted to be a ghost. I found a ghost mask at the Hospitality Shoppe at the facility. Ryan loved it and kept going, "Boooo" everytime he put the mask on. THEN, On Thanksgiving Day, Ryan was awarded a day pass and was allowed to come home for one day for a few hours. He slept most of the day, but it was great to have him here. As you can see, more of his friends dropped by to see him.

Love that he could still find fun with the ghost mask - how incredible his journey was!

I really love how your decorations over the different pages do not distract from the photos. Here on this page the pumpkins at the bottom only draw the eye up towards the two photos above it. Great work!
