My middle son, Ryan, was in an automobile accident in 2006 when he was 21 years old. He was a belted passenger in a car that went off the road into a 9" ditch and right into a tree. Among many internal serious injuries. Ryan suffered a traumatic brain injury and I felt compelled to scrapbook his recovery, mostly for him as he doesn't remember a whole lot of what happened.
Again, I chose a dark background and on this page, I explained the 'wait' for Ryan to wake up. He was in a coma for 3 weeks. His family and many friends filled the hospital waiting room for 3 weeks. I wanted Ryan to see who came to pray with us and stayed with us while at the hospital.

I think the use of the dark background is a perfect metaphor for your time of uncertainty! Three weeks in a coma is a long time of not knowing what the outcome is going to be.
