I don't often play along in the Featured Stamper Challenges, but when I saw it was Brenda this week I couldn't resist! I love her masked and sponged cards and thought they would work well with today's color challenge colors. Here's Brenda's pretty Welcome card I used decorative edge scissors to cut my mask. I took a large post it note and penciled an outline for my image panel. I then folded it in half in order to cut out the center rectangle. With my mask in place I sponged the Cabana and then stamped the flourishes in stamped off Cabana. I inked my tree in Olive then used a Basic Black marker to add black details. I stamped this with the mask still in place. The sentiment was stamped with the mask off. I added narrow black framing and a deckle edged Coastal frame. Blogged about it

Fabulous! The blog entry is really informative. I feel so honored this week-- like you, I don't often participate in the featured stamper challenges, usually when it's someone dear to me. Church and favorites thread trump crafting...!
This card is special, with a sweet sentiment. Many, many thanks for this honor.

Gail what a beautiful blessing to make this gorgeous card... love the use of the tree to make it very serene... also love the way you used decorative scissors for the edge of the one panel... I was foolish and gave all my scissors to the little girl next door.... great use of todays colours.... love it...
