I'm late. Long story short. (They never are) Our son is a boys baseball coach for Waterford High School. They won the last conference game Friday night and DH and I went out for ribs at a local Sports Bar. The ribs came with this awesome red and white tissue that was just perfect for the Thursday WT532 - to use red and white and a neutral if you needed to? I had already tried with just red and white and was having trouble, so I begged a clean sheet of tissue from our waitress. (Go for it, Ladies) The sweet girl gave me two pieces, so I have enough for more Red and White Faux Silk. I added the black cityscape for my neutral and then didn't have time to upload. Today was my first Upload Time. So here is my Red and White card and I love it.

Carol you are too funny..of course you envisioned your card using the red and white tissue from the restaurant! A light bulb moment (better than a senior moment..lol) This is fantastic!! I love it with your cityscape! Brilliant design!

Carol, I LOVE how you think! What a terrific job with the faux silk and even better, how you obtained the checked tissue! Fantastic take on that challenge!

I'm trying to think of the right word...atmospheric, evocative... I can't quite find the word I'm looking for, but this certainly encapsulates your card title.

I LOVE THIS! What a perfect red and white addition to the gallery. Great way to obtain the perfect background too! Congrats to your son.... ours wasn't so lucky, they lost the district championship.

Great way to use the r+w tissue! It's funny how we cardmakers see everything from a "how can I use that on a card" point of view, huh? HEE! Seriously reminds me of a 50s dinner. Nice work!
