Have you ever had one of those days where nothing seems to come together just right? Well, I am having one of those days. I wanted to make a card, but really didn't have a vision for one. I found the Deconstructed Sketch 201 and thought, "Oh, I can do something with that." Next I needed a color combo. That part took me a while but I finally settled on the color scheme of the Lovely Flowers dp. I did have a vision of how I wanted the flower image to look, but I just couldn't get it to come out. I finally inked the stamp with melon mambo, stamped it off and then thumped it with the rich razzleberry marker. Ok, that turned out alright. Then I stamped it three more times without reinking. I stamped the sentiment over the lighter flowers in rich razzleberry. Now for the embellishments. I even struggled with those! I finally decided to use the butterfly thinlit. I added the little flowers to the center and also to the banners. Not one of my better cards, but I guess it is OK. Tomorrow is another day!

Ha ha ha! Yes, yes, I can relate! It seems for me "one of those days" pops up a bit more frequently lately, but anyway ..... I think you are being too hard on yourself. The flowers in the background are beautiful. The color combination is great, and I think it was pretty darn creative to think of using the little flowers on the butterfly instead of just popping the pearls down it's center like I tend to do! So, if the card is a disaster, at least it is a pretty disaster! You are right...tomorrow is another day, and I hope it is a great day for you.

Good for you for pushing through those little hiccups to create a beautiful card. Sometimes I'll finish a card that turns out to not be really 'me' but I'll post it anyway... given the beautiful variety of people and tastes in the world, I know it will brighten someone's day, even if it wasn't mine. Keep creating! xo
