Sponged three shades of distress inks for the background, then sprayed with a shimmer mist (hoping it would seal the colour) ... it seems to work. Added white embossing powder over top and then sprinkled on a mixture of white and glitter embossing powders and heat set once the paste was dry.
Die-cut the birch trees and coloured them with a waterbrush and a little gray ink, and sponged the birds Put it all together along with a couple of snowdrifts.

I've looked at those birch tree dies for SO long and now wish I got them! This is gorgeous, Loll! Love the falling snow you created and the beautiful, sponged sky!
