Here's a late entry to F4A273, which was to use sand in our card. I chose to do a sponged scene on an almost one layer card. Masked off the panel, and section by section (using masks) swiped the ink pad direct to paper for a base layer for each section and then used sponges to add more ink in places that needed it. Used a variety of stamps from above sets to give texture and to create the silhouettes. Popped up the sentiment.

The direct to paper resulted in such a cool texture for your bg, and I love your color choices. I really like the way the masking turned out... another technique I forget to try.

A lovely way to add the sponging technique to your card. The variety of colors are adding a little extra. Thanks so much for being with us at CCCB this week!

This is such a pretty scene! It is very well done! You covered it all - sunset, shadow of trees on water, beautiful water and sandy shore with grasses past the sand! Wow! tfs
